Summary
Day 1! What did I do? Well, I’ve created some wallpapers for my phone and laptop. Then I created more pictures to use for the first blog post (ref: Kickstarting). And finally, I created a short music video for a lofi song. Calling it a music video is a bit of a stretch, since it’s only a few seconds long and I looped it around to match the length of the song (2:30 mins), but it’s a nice little project.
Note:
I’m more familiar with Markdown so I’ll use that to write my post instead of HTML. This means the formatting could be weird. Also I don’t have a specific template/style yet. I’ll just write whatever comes to mind.

Follow up
- Learn how to recreate the falling leave animation. I kind of just stumbled upon it when I tried the "light rain" description in the prompt, but I couldn’t repro it again to fine tune it.
- Use the pika labs public channel to learn how others are using the tool, because my text prompt generation (not from image) seems to be pretty bad.
- Create a how-to video on everything I did with step-by-step on how I created the video.
Thoughts
- Felt accomplished that I was able to create to the video so early on (though it was very basic).
- Felt like I should make faster progress, not feeling like I’ve learned too much yet.
